Stationery Tools Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between Amanzi Connexions (Pty) Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”) and the merchant or organization installing or using Stationery Tools (“you”). By installing, selecting a plan, or using the app, you agree to these terms and confirm that you are authorized to bind the merchant.

1. The service

Stationery Tools provides Shopify product customization, interactive previews, saved designs, cart and order associations, and merchant fulfillment references. Shopify operates the store, checkout, billing platform, and underlying commerce services. We may improve or change the app while preserving its core paid function.

You and your customers retain ownership of submitted artwork. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, transform, preview, reproduce, and deliver that artwork only as needed to provide and secure the service, support fulfillment, and meet legal obligations. You confirm that you have authority to grant this licence. We do not claim ownership of merchant or customer designs.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the service for unlawful, deceptive, infringing, abusive, or malicious material; attempt to bypass access, billing, rate, or security controls; interfere with the service; reverse engineer restricted components except where law permits; or use another shop's designs or private files without authorization. We may suspend affected functionality to prevent harm or comply with law.

5. Previews and production

On-screen 3D views and generated files are production references, not guarantees of physical colour, material, print placement, sizing, or manufacturing outcome. Device displays, garment construction, printing methods, and supplier tolerances vary. The merchant and its producer must verify artwork dimensions, resolution, placement, colour mode, bleed, and manufacturing suitability before production.

6. Plans, charges, and cancellation

Paid plans, trials, recurring charges, plan changes, and cancellation are presented and managed through Shopify App Pricing and appear on the merchant's Shopify invoice. Current pricing and trial terms are shown before approval. Cancelling or losing entitlement stops new paid customization activity, but does not erase existing order artwork before its normal retention deadline. Shopify's billing system governs charge timing, currency, taxes, and applicable credits.

Cancellation takes effect according to the plan terms shown by Shopify. We do not ordinarily refund a current billing period after cancellation. We may consider a refund or credit for an exceptional, verified technical failure that prevented meaningful use for an extended period, subject to Shopify's billing mechanisms and applicable law. 7. Availability and third parties

The app depends on Shopify, internet access, browsers, hosting, storage, and other third-party services. We work to keep it available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Third-party services are governed by their own terms, and changes outside our control may affect app behavior.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service by cancelling the plan and uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security risk, unlawful use, or platform requirements. Provisions concerning ownership, payment already due, disclaimers, liability, and retained fulfillment records survive where their nature requires it. Data is retained and deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Warranties and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim implied warranties that can legally be disclaimed. We are not responsible for manufacturing errors, merchant product configuration, customer-supplied content, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss.

Our total cumulative liability for claims arising from the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Stationery Tools in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or R1,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that applicable law does not allow us to limit, including liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable legal expenses arising from your breach of these terms, violation of law or third-party rights, submitted artwork, products, manufacturing decisions, or misuse of the service.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes arising from these terms or the service are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

12. General terms

If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent, except with a lawful transfer of your business; we may transfer it as part of a reorganization or sale of the service. These terms, the Privacy Policy, and the plan presented through Shopify form the agreement concerning the service.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms to reflect service, legal, or platform changes. Material changes will be communicated through the app or another reasonable channel before they take effect where required.
